Benefits counseling provides the opportunity to meet with our trained Benefits Specialist for assistance applying for SNAP Food Benefits, TANF, and medical coverage, including Medicaid, CHIPs and Health Texas Women. In addition to benefits counseling, our Benefits Specialist can assist you with resources pertaining to your needs. This can include outside resources for dental, medical, counseling, housing, and much more. They will also assist in referring other services offered by the Community Enrichment Center such as Financial Coaching, Adult Education, Pathways and Housing Plus.

A representative from the Tarrant Area Food Bank is available by appointment every Wednesday during food pantry hours to help you apply for:
· SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
· TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
· Medical coverage programs, including:
o Medicaid
o CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program)
o Healthy Texas Women
