Career & Training Coach

The Career & Training Coach supports program participants in identifying training and professional development needs based on the participant’s skills gap, knowledge and or desired goals as it relates to self-sufficiency.  Once training needs are identified, coach connects participants to appropriate training programs. The Career & Training Coach will also provide support to agency training programs, including adult education programming.

Bilingual (Spanish) Resource Specialist  in Department of Family Services

The Resource Specialist will provide general case management for our clients by determining and coordinating integrated services for participants coming to CEC through our Welcome Center, internal or external referrals, or via phone and email contact. The Resource Specialist, in collaboration with the participants, will develop a success plan which will emphasize the goals the participant perceives to be important for their stability while maintaining program requirements and generating progress in the participant’s goals. The Resource Specialist will coordinate services and make appropriate referrals to internal or community agencies in order to help the participant receive all the services for which they are eligible, moving them toward stability. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Employment Specialist

The Employment Specialist will bridge the gap to employability and increasing one’s income potential and self-sufficiency.  This position will assist clients with career-building skills and finding job openings available within the community.  This position will also provide direct client services related to job readiness training, job coaching, job placement services, job recruitment/development along with employer engagement, and job retention support.

Clinical Supervisor, Counseling Program – Contract, PRN
In partnership with: Program Director for Community Services
Expected Project Length: PRN, Contract (up to 12 hours per month), expected end September 30, 2022 (with options to renew)

The Clinical Supervisor, Counseling will provide clinical supervision for licensed therapists/counselors providing services through the counseling program. Responsibilities include staffing/discussing complex cases and providing support for complex trauma issues facing participants.

Part Time Sales Associate – Second Glance Thrift Shop

Second Glance Thrift store is one of the ministries provided by the Community Enrichment Center (CEC) located in North Richland Hills Texas. For 30 years the CEC has been a partner in breaking the cycle of poverty and family violence for our local neighbors. All Sales Associates will be required to know and understand the CEC’s mission and convey our services to inquiring customers and donors. The staff at the Second Glance Thrift Store strive to provide excellent customer service to both our customers and donors by having a friendly positive attitude. Our Sales Associates participate in all aspects of the store’s operations.
