For 35 years, the CEC has been a partner in change for Tarrant low-income neighbors. The CEC has continued to grow and expand our services to assist and empower victims of family violence, homeless and low-income families and seniors across Tarrant County.
CEC empowers people and enriches the community through collaboration with BISD, churches, and other agencies. We raise awareness of the needs in our community through our Partners in Faith luncheons and seek to empower change. We collaborate with churches and agencies to provide weekend food for hungry students, volunteers for our schools, and various ways to minister to people and enrich our community.
The CEC has been a partner agency with the United Way of Metropolitan Tarrant County for over 12 years and has supported their initiatives for Tarrant County. United Way funded grants have also helped the CEC achieve many successful programs.
