Why Refresh?
14,000 children in Birdville ISD rely on free or reduced lunch.
One in seven children in Tarrant County faces food insecurity.
A child not reading proficiently by fourth grade is more likely to encounter the juvenile court system.
Refresh provides food, school supplies, backpacks, eye exams, and more for these families.
$40.82 provides $138.00 worth of school supplies, food and resources
Our goal is to support 2,500 children in BISD this year at Refresh
Our long-term goal is to serve 7,000 children at Refresh within three years.
