The CEC Brent Barrow Golf Classic was held on June 23 at Bear Creek Golf Club with over 260 golfers filling two courses! What began with a thunderstorm turned out to be a beautiful day to honor our friend Brent Barrow and enjoy a game of golf.
“In 24 years of having our golf tournament, we have not been rained out,” said CEC President and CEO, Randy Clinton. “We were extremely blessed to be able to have the tournament amid the COVID crisis and rain. It was a successful day and we were so grateful to Brent’s family for allowing us to honor him in this way, and help the CEC.”
Brent was an important part of the CEC for many years, serving on our board of directors and supporting the CEC through our Annual Golf Classic, Gala and much more. Brent’s life is a testament to his courage, strong faith and a love for others. He lived every day to the fullest and inspired family and friends to do the same. We are honored and humbled to dedicate this year’s tournament’s proceeds to establish the Brent Barrow Learning Lab at the CEC, where we will continue to further his passion for helping others.
Special thanks to our amazing sponsors and players who made the tournament a huge success, raising over $120,000!
